                          (Just a small portion of my Personal Testimony)
 Sometimes in our lives we have acquaintances that we call our Friends, and true friends are a blessing from God. But many times the people that we think to be our friends will betray us, or just walk off and leave us when we are at a time in our life that we need them most. 
   I am glad to report to you that I have a Friend, a True Friend, that has promised that he will never leave me nor forsake me. No matter what the circumstances or the trial I may be going through, He is always there with me, to help me, to guide me and to comfort me. He always knows just what to do to help the through the battles I face each day.
   But, you see, I have not always had this Friend, there were years in my life when I depended on myself or on others, that I thought were my friends, to help me in times of trouble. But I am glad to tell you that on January 7, 1975, I met this Friend. I asked the Lord Jesus Christ to come into my heart and forgive my sins and save me, and He did!  My Best Friend's name is JESUS. Oh! there's just something about that name. 
It is a comfort just to speak His name and know that He is there whenever I call on Him. He has been with me and will never leave me!
   Now, don't misunderstand what I am saying, I have many friends, friends and family that I can call on to help me or to pray for me, but none of them are as special as JESUS.
   My prayer for you today is: If you do not know JESUS as your personal Saviour and friend, that you will call on Him today, tell Him you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive you and come into your heart and save you. Then you will have a Friend for life, 
a Best Friend.

Becoming a Christian is as easy as:  A - B - C
A - Admit that you are a sinner.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
B - Believe in your heart that Jesus died for you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
C - Confess with your mouth, pray and ask Jesus to save you. 
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
1 John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
