I.
BECAUSE HE PROMISED HE WAS COMING.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe
also in me.

would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

II.
BECAUSE OF THE WORLD’S CONDITION.

Tim 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall
come.

Tim 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,
boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Tim 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God;

Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away.

Tim 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead
captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Tim 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the
truth.
III.
BECAUSE GOD’S PEOPLE HAVE NO CONCERN.

142:4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man
that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
IV.
BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE DEVIL IS FIGHTING GOD’S PEOPLE.

2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take
counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords
from us.

38:19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they
that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

V.
BECAUSE OF THE PHYICAL SUFFERING GOD’S PEOPLE ARE DOING.

8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the
firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting
for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Cor 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from
the body, and to be present with the Lord.
VI.
BECAUSE OF THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S WORD.

BECAUSE OF THE DESIRE OF GOD’S PEOPLE
