WHAT ARE SOME RESULTS OF CONSIDERING THE POOR

 

Psa 41:1   Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

 

INTRODUCTION:  WE ARE LIVING IN A DAY OF SELFISHNESS. 
THE AVERAGE PERSON CARES NOTHING OF THE OTHER PERSONS NEEDS.

 

I.    WE WILL BE DELIVERED IN TIME OF TROUBLE.

  VERSE 1 b...   the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

A.     DANIEL.

B.     THREE HEBREW CHILDREN.

 

 II.  WE WILL BE PRESERVED FROM BITTERNESS.

  Psa 41:2 A The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive;

A.    TO PRESERVED IS TO PUT UP FOR THE FUTURE.

 

III.  WE WILL BE KEPT ALIVE WHILE OTHERS DIE.

  VERSE 2 b...  and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

 

A.  IF WE TRY TO GAIN IN THIS LIFE, GOD WILL CUT US OF.

 

IV.  WE WILL BE BLESSED HERE ON THIS EARTH.

VERSE 2 c...  and he shall be blessed upon the earth:

A.  HAVE YOU EVER STOPPED JUST TO COUNT YOUR BLESSING.

 

V.  WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS OVER THE WILL OF OUR ENEMIES.

VERSE 2 d...  and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Psa 41:5  Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

Psa 41:6  And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

Psa 41:7  All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

Psa 41:8  An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.

Psa 41:9  Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

A.  THEY WOULD LOVE TO SEE US ,DOWN, DEFEATED, DESTROYED, DEAD.

 

V.    WE WILL BE STRENGTHENED IN TIME OF WEAKNESS.

  Psa 41:3 a... The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing:

 

VII.  WE WILL BE VISITED IN TIME OF SICKNESS.

   VERSE 3 b...  thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
