UNMOVABLE SAINTS

Cor 15:58 Therefore, my beloved
brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the
Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
MANY
SAVED PEOPLE ARE NOT AS STEADFAST AS THEY SHOULD BE OR COULD.
I.
STEADFAST UNMOVABLE SAINTS HAVE PEACE WITH GOD.
Rom
5:1 Therefore being justified
by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Col
1:20 And, having made peace
through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself;
by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Isa
57:21 There is no peace, saith
my God, to the wicked.
II.
STEADFAST UNMOVABLE SAINTS FOLLOW JESUS.
A.
THEY FOLLOW BECAUSE THEY HEAR HIM.
John
8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear
them not, because ye are not of God.
B.
THEY FOLLOW BECAUSE THEY KNOW HIM.
John
10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before
them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
C.
THEY FOLLOW BECAUSE THEY LOVE HIM.

John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
III.
STEADFAST UNMOVABLE SAINTS ABIDE IN HIM.
A.
THEY ABIDE IN HIM FOR A FRUITFUL LIFE.
John
15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me,
and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do
nothing.
B.
THEY ABIDE IN HIM FOR ANSWERED PRAYER.
John
15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask
what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
C.
THEY ABIDE IN HIM FOR FULLNESS OF JOY.
John
15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain
in you, and that your joy might be full.
IV.
STEADFAST UNMOVABLE SAINTS AVOID CHURCH DIVISIONS.
John
17:21 That they all may be one;
as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:
that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John
17:22 And the glory which thou
gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
John
17:23 I in them, and thou in
me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that
thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Cor 3:3 For ye are yet carnal:
for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye
not carnal, and walk as men?
V.
STEADFAST UNMOVABLE SAINTS ARE NOT INFLUENCED BY FALSE TEACHERS.
Acts
20:29 For I know this, that
after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the
flock.

20:30 Also of your own selves
shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after
them.
VI.
STEADFAST UNMOVABLE SAINTS CAN WORK AND COOPERATE TOGETHER.
Acts
2:44 And all that believed were
together, and had all things common;

2:45 And sold their possessions
and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
VII.
STEADFAST UNMOVABLE SAINTS ARE LOOKING FOR JESUS TO COME .
Titus
2:11 For the grace of God that
bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Titus
2:12 Teaching us that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and
godly, in this present world;
Titus
2:13 Looking for that blessed
hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus
Christ;
Heb
9:28 So Christ was once offered
to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear
the second time without sin unto salvation.
