HOW TO GET PEOPLE TO GOD

 

Psa 126:6  He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

 

I.      WE FIND CHRISTIAN ACTIVITY

Verse 6a – He that goeth forth and weepeth,   NOTE: “He that goeth”

James 1: 22   But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

 

II.     WE FIND CHRISTIAN DIRECTION

Verse 6b --   “Bearing prescious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing bring his sheaves with him.

Heb 13:13  Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

 

III.     WE FIND CHRISTIAN HUMILITY

Verse 6c -- and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

James 4:6  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

 

IV.     WE FIND CHRISTIAN WITNESSING

Psa 126:3  The LORD hath done great things for us;

Acts 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

 

V.      WE FIND CHRISTIAN LITERATURE

Phil 2:16  Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

 

VI.     WE FIND CHRISTIAN ASSURANCE

Psalm 126:6 NOTE: * shall doubtless come again.

 

VII.     WE FIND CHRISTIAN REJOICING

Phil 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
