WHAT DO PEOPLE READ IN US?

II Corinthians 3:2  Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

I.     OUR LIFE SHOULD REVEAL FAITH.

Acts  27:25  Wherefore,  sirs, be of good cheer; for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

II Corinthians 1:9  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that  we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

II.     OUR LIFE SHOULD REVEAL FAITHFULNESS.

Revelations 2:10  Fear none of those things which  thou  shalt suffer; behold the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation  ten days: be thou faithful unto death and I  will give thee a  crown of life.

I Corinthians 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as  ye know that your labour  is not in vain in the Lord.

III.    OUR LIFE SHOULD REVEAL FINANCES.

1 Corinthians  16:2   Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

2 Cor 9:6  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

2 Cor 9:7  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him  give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

2 Cor 9:8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that  ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good  work:

A. God's church or His people are not poverty stricken.

IV.    OUR LIFE SHOULD REVEAL FRIENDLINESS.

Proverbs 18:24  A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a  friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Proverbs 17:17  A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

V.     OUR LIFE SHOULD REVEAL FORGIVENESS.

Ephesians 4:32  And be ye kind one to another,  tenderhearted,  forgiving one another,  even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

VI.      OUR LIFE SHOULD REVEAL FIGHTING.

Nehemiah 4:14  And  I  looked,  and  rose  up, and said unto the nobles,  and  to  the  rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethern, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

VII.     OUR LIFE SHOULD REVEAL FELLOWSHIP.

Psalm 122:1  I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

Heb 10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
