SOME  THINGS I’VE  NOT CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT

Acts 28:1-6

Acts 28:1 And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
Acts 28:2 And the barbarous people showed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
Acts 28:3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
Acts 28:4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
Acts 28:5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
Acts 28:6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

Intro:    We live in a changing world.  Customs, culture and church members change.

Today I want to look at some things I haven't changed my mind about....

A.    Inspired, Inerrant, Infallible

B.    Book of Wonder, Worship, Warfare

C.    A map for direction, A manuel for discretion and a mirror for decipline

       blessed.

II.     THE WAY TO GOD.......John 14.6

A.      Realize you are a sinner....Rom 3:23

III.   THE WORSHIP OF GOD……

A.      Worship is to be Scriptural.....John 4:24

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

B.      Worship is to be Spiritual......John 4:24

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

C.  Worship is to be Sacrificial...Matt 26:6-13

Mat 26:6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,
Mat 26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.
Mat 26:8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?
Mat 26:9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.
Mat 26:10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
Mat 26:11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
Mat 26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.
Mat 26:13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.
(Mary came to give, not recieve)
