Intro:
There is an old saying, "All I gotta do is ... or die."
The
Bible teaches us that we must also face the judgment.
The Saints will face the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Sinners
will face the White Throne Judgment of Rev 20.
At
the Judgment Seat of Christ, the believers will be rewarded for their
labours or reprimanded for their laziness.
Today I want to look at this judgment.
I.
BLOODY HANDS......Ezek 33:7-9
1.
His Position.....V 7
Ezek 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

A Sovereign Choice....I have set
b.
A Sovereign Call.....I have set thee
c.
A Sovereign Commission...over the house of Israel

His Purpose....V 7

His Payday.....V 8-9
Ezek 33:8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Ezek 33:9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

for failure.....V 8

II.
BURNED WORKS......I Cor 3:12-15

The manifestation....V 14
1 Cor 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

The materials........V 12
1 Cor 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
3.
The motive......V 13, Size or SORT??????
1 Cor 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

BROKEN HEARTS........I Cor
3:14-15
Three
things I believe will be revealed at this place.
1.
The potential of our life....V14
1 Cor 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

The price of our laziness..
3.
The perishing of our labours...V 15
1 Cor 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Bloody
hands deals with our soulwinning...

works deals with our service...

hearts deal with our selfishness...
