THE ANSWER TO THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM TODAY....
I.
THE ORIGIN OF THE HOME....Gen 2:18-25
A. Established by the Maker.... Notice:
1.
The declaration of God.-.V 18
Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
2. The creation of God.-.V 21
Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
3. The organization by God....V 22-24
Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Children Subjected to Both Parents....Eph 6:1
Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
III.
THE OBLIGATION OF THE HOME....Husband & Wife
A. Mutual Obligation....Love
B. Moral Obligation....Loyalty
C. Money Obligation....Live within means
D. Marital Obligation.... I Cor 7:1-5
IV.
THE OPPORTUNITY OF THE HOME....
A. Household Salvation....Acts 16:31
Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
B.
Household Surrender.... Joshua 24:15
Josh 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Household Security.. ..Prov 22:6
Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
