Often
this message is preached to sinners. Today before I bring the message there
are three doctrinal teachings I want you to note.
1.
JESUS HONORS MARRIAGE....V 1-2, you had better make sure you include him
when you invite your wedding guests....
John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
John 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
2.
JESUS HUMANIZES MARY....V 3-4, She is not recognized as
"the mother of God...."
John 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
John 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

JESUS DOES NOT PROMOTE STRONG DRINK....

are 11 Hebrew words translated wine....
-There
are 2 Greek words translated wine....
Anytime
it is used in the negative - it is fermented wine, when it is used in
thepositive - it is juice.
EXAMPLE:
When the Bible says, "Be not winebibbers,"
it does not mean "Be not Jelly eaters or juice drinkers...."

John 2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

2:9c ....the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
