Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

2. The Pollution of Sin....Rom 6:1; Rev 1:5

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
3. The Power of Sin....Rom 5:9-10

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
4. The Pleasure of Sin....II Cor 5:17

II Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
5.  The Presence of Sin....John 14:1-3 (this one is yet future)

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

II.   HE BROUGHT US IN....SAVED INTO:

A.  A Faith for Salvation....Rom 10:17

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
2. Faith to request....Rom 10:13-14

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
3.  Faith to receive....John 1:11-12

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

B. Into Family for Similarity.... John 3:1-3

1. Family Likeness.... V 1... There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2. Family Longing.... V 2... The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

C. Into Fellowship for Service.... John 15:16

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

In the book of Ephesians there are three different words used to
describe his Church.

1. The Body-This reveals many members and speaks of our
function in service.

2. The Building-This reveals much materials and speaks of our foundation, the Saviour.

3. The Bride-This reveals a marriage and speaks of our future at his side.
D. Into the Fold for Security....

1. The Shepherd of our protection.... John 10:3-4

John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

2. The Seal of our protection....Eph 4:30

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

3. The Strength of our protection....John 10:28-29

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
