Follow The Light

 

Will You Meet Me On Heaven's Shore?

 

Would you miss me if we never meet again down here?

Would you regret the things you have done with doubt and fear?

One day our ways will part and you will never see me any more,

Will you be ready to meet God upon Heaven's shining shore?

 

I hope your life is right and ready to meet the Lord,

Have you trusted in Jesus according to God's Word?

I have fully prepared to meet God over in Heaven's land,

Will you be ready to meet me on Heaven's bright strand?

 

Friendships here come and go and are soon past,

The hope of a home eternal is the only one that will last.

Life here will soon be over and our work on earth will be done,

And we will face our record after our race here is won.

 

Be prepared to meet me in Heaven, for I plan to be there,

If you are ready then sweet Heaven's bliss you can share.

One thing I know that is really true,

This ole world, I'm just a passing thru.

 

My home is over yonder on Heaven's shining strand,

For soon I will be gathered up to Heaven's glory land.

Will you be ready to meet me up on Heaven's shore,

There we can sing and shout and praise the Lord forever more.
