Follow the Light
TRUSTING WHEN TROUBLE COMES
All of us face trouble, some a little, some much more,
As long as we live we will have heartaches on earth's shore.
Some have cancer, some have a heart attack or a stroke,
It may seem like a dream, but it is real when you're awoke.
Some have diabetes, some perhaps have a kidney stone,
Sometimes you share with others, sometimes we suffer alone.
How do you react when trouble comes in like a flood?
Do you panic or do you trust in the power of Jesus blood?
Life is short at its very best and death we all must face,
Before we die, we don't know what we will suffer in this place.
We cannot change the results of sin on the earth of mortal man,
But we can trust in God, we know that He cares and will understand
He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us living down here,
If we put our faith in Him we will never have to doubt or fear.
God's grace is sufficient for every trial every crisis we face,
His mercy is everlasting and His love is secure in this place.
What do you do when the bottom drops out?
Do you trust the Lord or sit in a corner and pout?
Trouble is the lot of us all in a world filled with sin,
But trusting the Lord, makes it a better place to live in.
