Thankful Living = Thankful Giving

Thanksgiving should result in Thanks Living.

The Lord has been to us so very good,

To provide us health and life and food.

Every good and perfect gift is from above,

And showered on the sons of men because of God's love.

How thankful we ought to be,

Just to think that God is concerned about you and me,

I am a very thankful man, living in and abundant land.

Grateful for all my blessings today,

Thankful foe all that God at my feet doth lay.

His storehouse of bounty, His heart of pure love,

And all the beauty that He sends down from above.

May we never be ungrateful for God's bountiful store,

But may we be thankful as we dwell on this earth's shore.

Let us be thankful, for praise becometh Thee,

Thanksgiving Day should be every day for you and me.

How good god has been to each of us today,

If it had not been for Him, we could not find our way.

The bounty of the harvest, the beauty of the fall,

From the loving hand, of a loving God, who has made it all.

God has given us good things to enjoy and to eat,

He gives us life and health for each new day to meet.

Let us be thankful today,

For all the blessings He sends our way.

You could be sick and you could be dead,

So thank Him now while you are ahead.

For many are not so fortunate as you,

So give thanks for His blessings, always new.

Today, you and I should be as a thankful man,

For God's blessings in this bountiful land.
