Stick By The Stuff

 

God has led us through many battles and heartaches sore,

But then, He has given us grace sufficient and oh, so much more.

There are times when life is hared and things get tough,

It is then God whispers to us, STICK BY THE STUFF.

 

There is no problem so big that He doesn't know,

He will lead us and show us the right way to go.

We may try to fool others and put on a bluff,

But it is then, God whispers, STICK BY THE STUFF.

 

Your church is in need of folks who will be faithful and stand,

And keep on going though many things they do not understand.

God wants us to be faithful when there's trouble enough,

He tells us to be strong in the Lord and to STICK BY THE STUFF.

 

Anyone of us can stumble and all of us can be weak and fall,

We can only win if we live close to Jesus and on Him we call.

don't have a faith that blows away like a dandelion with a puff,

But be strong and courageous and be one that STICKS BY THE STUFF.

 

God wants us to stick to the fight when we're the hardest hit,

It's when things seem the worst that you must not stop nor quit.

God help us to work and be faithful until God says it is enough,

And He will reward us, because we STOOD BY THE STUFF.
