Spring is Coming

The sun is shining and the sky is clear,
The birds are nesting, Spring is here!
Daffodils are beginning to bloom,
And the flowers spread their sweet perfume.

The grass is getting green and the buds begin to swell,
the song birds are singing, it is Spring and all is well.
New life and new hope are in the air,
Folks are smiling, there is joy everywhere!

The fish are spawning and the blue birds will sing,
The sun dances in laughter because it is Spring!
In nature all things are growing and the sky is azure blue,
And my heart is singing, Surely the Lord careth for you.

Gone are the blustery winds of winter and the rain and snow,
Gone is the bleakness and deadness that makes our hearts low.
Thank God for the seasons and the changes they always bring,
Especially this year, are you thankful for the coming of Spring?
