The Price Of Obedience

It costs to serve Jesus in this world below,

We are taught that you reap what you sow.

We must deny ourselves if we follow God's perfect will,

We must humble our hearts and our soul must be still.

Nothing is so important than to be right with God,

And live for Him as we travel upon earth's sod.

Family and friends may not understand or even care,

But we must obey God whether we are here or there.

Regardless of the price that we must pay,

There is one thing for certain, our God we MUST OBEY!

There are a lot of things we may not understand nor see,

But obedience to God is the one thing there must be.

The consequences of not obeying God brings judgment and defeat,

So we must obey God, there must be NO RETREAT!

One of the most important things that I can say,

The best thing a Christian can do for God is to OBEY!
