Praise God For The Blood
Thank God for the blood that redeems lost man,
Thank God we have the best salvation in the land.
On the cross, Christ paid for all of my sin,
And God opened the door to let this sinner in.
In this modern world, the blood men want to deny,
And when they wind up in hell they will wonder why.
God loves sinners and gave His son's blood to redeem,
There is no other remedy for sin no matter how good it may seem.
Not by human works that we have done,
Salvation is only by the blood of God's dear son.
One day in Heaven we shall behold God's risen lamb,
We shall rejoice because then we will know the Great I Am.
Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend,
Thank God has opened a way for man to avoid his better end.
The blood has paid the price and from sin we are set free,
And because of His shed blood, sweet Heaven we shall see.
