Praise God For His Deliverance

Praise the Lord for another week to serve the Lord,

Praise the Lord for the good things we have heard.

Praise the Lord for the victories we have won,

Praise the Lord for the good things He has done.

Satan is a defeated foe, though his wiles he has hurled,

God has delivered us though the tempests have swirled.

Great things are in store as we expectantly wait,

God's deliverance is sure, for He is never late.

Though many things down here I do not understand,

God will bring us thru the trials of this troubled land.

We are nearer home than we were yesterday,

God has protected us along life's rugged way.

By and by when the tough battles are all o'er,

We shall rejoice and sing God's praised forevermore.

God, help us to always true and faithful be,

As we await our call to live in God's Eternity.
