Lord, We Need A Miracle Today

Dear Lord, a miracle from you we need this day,

To encourage us and help us on our weary way.

Health problems are very bad and funds are few,

Dear Lord, we need to have a miracle from you.

We have used all our hoarded resources, our strength almost gome,

We need help from thee and from the power of God on His throne.

We need inner resources and our faith uplifted to face the task,

Other sources have utterly failed, you are the only one left to ask.

Dear Lord, you have all power, nothing hard for you to do,

So give us a miracle today and help us to wade through.

Lord increase our faith and make it firm and strong,

And help us to trust in your power all the day long.

Lord, I do not know the answers today for all our need,

But I know by Your hand we follow as You gently lead.

Give us the grace to go on and the strength to endure,

Help us that our lives may be clean and our hearts be pure.

Lord, we cannot see the end from the beginning as You can do,

So help us to trust and obey and to Your word be always true.

Perhaps some day when the mists have rolled away,

We will understand when we reach that brighter day.
