Lord, I Need Your Strength Today

Lord, increase my faith and courage today,

Strengthen me and help me walk in Thy way.

Give me wisdom to face the trials of life,

Help me to be positive as I deal with trouble and strife.

 

Lord, encourage my heart and lift up my soul,

Holy spirit, please come and take over control.

Lord, You are bigger than all our problems and care,

In every situation we can find the Saviour there.

 

Greater than Satan and all of his wicked lies,

We have victory if we are a soul that on God relies.

this age is winding down to a dramatic close,

God, give us extra strength as we battle Satan's foes.

 

True believers look daily for the Lord Jesus to come back,

While we labor and wait, God help us not to be slack.

to live each moment ready for His imminent return,

May our lives be truly ready, as for His coming we yearn.

 

Lord, I need your strength today to do and be my very best,

Help me to be worthy to battle and to win the final test.

It will be worth it all after the battle is o'er,

And we arrive safe at home over on Heavens shore.
