Learning To Lean On God's Sufficient Grace 

As we linger here, waiting for God's final call,

Loved ones are passing away and going beyond death's wall.

God has new grace, sufficient grace, and needed grace to spare,

To comfort our hearts as our loved one go to heaven fair.

Our hearts are saddened and our eyes are filled with tears,

And our bodies are weary with the burden of passing years.

but in Heaven where our loved one now have gone,

They are happy and rejoicing in their new home.

Their toil and suffering are over and life's race has been run,

They are now at home with Jesus after the setting of life's sun.

Our loved ones in Heaven, youthful and happy shall ever be,

And one day, we too, shall join them to rejoice for all eternity.

Lift up your heads and rejoice, ye saints of God today,

Their battle is over and they shall be in Heaven forever to stay.

Be still, O my soul, and wait thou on the Lord,

Wait patiently as God fulfills His Holy Word.

Lean heavily on the God of all sufficient grace,

Who will sustain us and help us in this place,

His abundant grace is more than sufficient, lean on Him today,

We have perfect calm and peace when we let God have His perfect way.
