God Is Still In Control

Though you've had a hard week of things that cannot be told,

I am so glad in spite of it, my God is still in control.

Though troubles pile high and pressures seem so freat,

God is always on time in our need, He is never too late.

God is bigger than our enemies who focus on their sin,

God can deliver us from the fix they put us in.

Nothing can harm the saint of God who is in God's perfect will,

In the midst of our storm, we hear the Master's, "Peace be still".

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning,

We have the victory in spite that Satan attacks without a warning.

Our God answers prayer, He knows our weakest point,

In our weakness, He, our tired spirit can anoint.

He can make a way when there is no way,

He can deliver us from trouble, no matter what men may say.

God is a good God, He knows our every care,

At the point of our deepest need, He is always there.
