Encourage Yourself in the Lord

David encouraged himself in the Lord,
And so can we according to God's Holy Word.
God is able to meet every possible need,
He knows our heart and our every deed.

If we learn hoe to pray according to His will,
He will still our storms and say "Peace Be Still."
god knows the end from the beginning, Trust Him today,
Encourage yourself in the Lord and let Him have His way.

Earthly friends may discourage you and let you down,
and your problems may be pressing you to the ground.
But look up -- Christ is ready your burden to share,
Learn to lean on Him and let Him your burdens bear.

With God all things are possible so encourage your heart,
Stick to god's promises and from His Word never depart.
God wants to encourage you in every possible way,
So lean on the Lord and to Him always humbly pray.
