A Psalm of Thanksgiving

O Lord, we thank Thee for being so good and so kind,

We thank Thee for salvation and wondrous peace of mind.

Thank Thee O Lord for loving us in sunshine and thru tears,

Dear Lord we thank Thee for the blessing of the passing years.

Dear Lord, we thank Thee for our health and for the strength to work,

Help us Dear Lord to always thank Thee and our duty not to shirk.

Thank Thee for the seasons and the passing days of the year,

That you Lord, that you have filled our heart with peace and not with fear.

Thank thee for family and friends and the love they share,

Most of all we thank Thee for thyself that you're always there.

Thank Thee O Lord for the strength you give when we are weak,

Things will change for good whenever your voice you utter and speak.

Thank god for open doors and opportunities others to serve,

Help us to do right and from the truth never turn or swerve.

Thank you Lord for all the bounty of harvest you provide,

May we ever love Thee and in thy Holy word forever abide.

For life, for health, for friends and every go thing you give us to enjoy,

For time and eternity may our praises and thanks our tongues employ.

May we always do our best in every way that we possibly can,

In all things down here, help us to be a kind and a thankful man.
