Follow The Light
America At The Crossroads
Terrorist attacks, threats of war, death and destruction on every hand,
For the first time in history, outsiders have invades our fair land.
We have lived so secure, feeling no harm could ever happen here,
Now we have thousands killed and many are filled with dread and fear.
All of our pleasure seeking, our emphasis on sports and ignoring God,
Has put America in a dilemma here as we await the future on America’s sod.
Politicians and Holly has tried to outlaw God and the Bible from our life,
And now we have a national emergency with terror and human strife.
America must return to God if our land is to be saved and healed from its woe,
To God and the Bible and to Church, is the only place we really have to go.
We must fall on our knees and repent of our sins nationally and one on one,
Until we see revival come and God to bring deliverance through His own dear son.
We stand at the crossroads, God or materialism and atheism and self will and sin,
We must repent, change our minds and our wicked ways, if God’s blessings we enter in.
We must tear down our heathen idols of pleasure, materialism and leaving God out,
We must get ready to meet our maker, ‘er we hear Gabriel’s mighty trumpet shout.
We must take time to read our Bibles and pray and win the lost to the Lord,
We must return to the old landmarks laid down in God’s holy and righteous Word.
We must love and forgive sinners and repent of all known rebellion and shame,
We must get back to basics and learn how we can pray to God in Jesus name.
God must have all or nothing, first place or no place in our country today,
If we don’t give it to Him, then He will allow some heathen to take it away.
Life is too short to live for rebellion, self will, without God, going on our way,
Our liberties will be snatched from us and for all our sins we will have to pay.
Return to God and the Bible, and love for God’s church and our fellow man,
Let us do for Christ our very best and win every lost person we can.
We are at the crossroads of decision, may we consider the awesome cost!
And come back to God and His word or all of our freedoms and hope will be lost.
