THE SEVEN TRUMPETS OF JUDGMENT:

INTRODUCTION:

2. The (7) vials come out of the 7th trumpet
3. There is a parallel between the (7) T & (7) vials

Trumpet Number 1 - Rev. 8:6-7
a. Prophesied: Job 38:22-23

of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing,
shall cast
down to the earth with His hand...

The Fourth Trumpet Sounds: (Rev. 8:12-13)

The Fifth Trumpet Sounds: (Rev. 9:1-12)

3. The star - a person - an angel
a. Job 38:7: When the morning stars sang together, and

the sons of God shouted for joy.

lightening fall from Heaven.

In the 1st (4) trumpets: Supernatural judgments fall on the
earth.

6. In 5 and 6th trumpet scene shifts to unseen world - hell:
Result - all hell turned loose

"Star" - This star is thought by some to be satan..

8. "Bottomless Pit" - Home of demons - prison

Demons are spirit beings...fallen angels...
a. Faces - like men
b. Hair - like women
c. Teeth - like lions
d. Tails - like scorpions

2. Their prohibition: Could only hurt those without seal of God...
3. V. 11 - They are of Satan's kingdom.
4. The smoke out of the pit - great delusion.

a. This referred to 9 times in N. T. over 30 times in Bible.
b. This abyss - The restraining place of all things and beings who have
fallen under the judgments of God...

The Sixth Trumpet Sounds: (Rev. 9:13-21
a. A bath of brimstone and death
b. 200 million demons turned loose on earth
1. (1) demon for every (1) people
2. Result - 1/3 of men killed by them

Seal #4 - Rev. 6:8... 1/4 pop. killed
Trumpet 6...Rev. 9:18 1/3 pop.
1/2 - 50% left...
b. Except those days shortened no flesh saved
