V. 8: He is the first and the last. He is the Almighty One.
V.10 & 11: He is the Revealing One.
V. 12 & 13: He is the ever-present One
HERE IS THE VISION OF CHRIST AS HE NOW IS:
IN GLORY: HIS HIGH PRIESTLY MINISTRY AS OUR INTERCEDING
HIGH PRIESTV. 13: 1 - Clothed in garments of High Priest.
The golden girdle signifies His Diety.
V.14: 2 - His white head and hair signify that He is the Eternal
High Priest. His priesthood has no end: Heb. 5:6, 6:20;
7:1-21V.15: 3 - His feet like fine brass signifies justice and judgment
His voice as the sound of many waters signifies His power
and authority.V.16: IN HIS RIGHT HAND SEVEN STARS: His protection of His own.
SHARP TWO-EDGED SWORD - Power of His word.
HIS COUNTENANCE AS THE SUN; His glory
V.17: HIS PRESENCE DISPELLS THE NEED OF FEAR - Luke 2:10 2 Tim. 1:7V.18: THE REASON: He is Conqueror and is victorious over both hell
and death.
