Follow The Light
No Doorknob
I heard the knocking on my door...
I peeked outside to see,
and standing there in all His glory,
was Jesus calling me.
I waited for Him to enter in...
but I needed to decide,
if I should open up my heart
to welcome Him inside.
I saw His Holy Light outside...
but still inside I stayed,
and darkness overwhelmed me
as His Light began to fade.
The next time I heard the knocking...
I quickly let Him in
and joy and peace flowed over me
as He loosed the bonds of sin.
No doorknob's on the outside
so Satan can't return;
I alone controlled my fate,
and with Christ I now sojourn.
If you don't know the Savior
and your door is closed and barred,
then in sadness He will leave you,
as your heart has become hard.
So if you feel a gentle knocking,
a tapping on your soul,
and you want to go to heaven,
you want to be made whole...
Then open up your heart's door,
and let the God's Son in,
for only He can save you
from the perils of your sin.

Doorknob
There is no doorknob
on the outside...
so that none
can force their way in.
There is a doorknob
on the inside...
so that only I
can open the door.
Only I
can bar the way
of the One who waits
outside my heart.
Only I
can control
my own destiny
by rejection or admittance.
Opening the door
grants admittance to the One
who patiently knocks,
bringing joy and peace.
Granting admittance
is the key
to love, security, freedom
and life everlasting.
It is my doorknob
and I hold the key
to choose or refuse...
God's love and salvation!

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
